The PSC of Badalona calls for eliminating the “container cemetery” in the Manresà neighborhood

A few days ago, the president of the PSC municipal group, Fernando Carrera, met with the members of the Manresà residents' association to address several problems affecting the neighbourhood. One of the most worrying issues is the situation of the municipal plot of land located next to the Tiana road, which has been converted into a container depot for a few months.

Residents are demanding that the PP government restore this space, which was initially intended to be a sports area, and put it at the service of the neighbourhood. “The residents of Manresà deserve a space that promotes health, cohesion and physical activity. We cannot accept that a municipal plot of land, intended to be a sports space, should be turned into a container depot” says Carrera.

The PSC demands that the PP government act quickly and responsibly to recover the space as planned. The socialists have called on the municipal government to take immediate measures to free the site from containers and give it the civic use that the neighbourhood demands.
